Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician with strong expertise in 3-phase power systems, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The candidate must be capable of handling installation, repair, and servicing of industrial electrical equipment including Diesel Generator Sets, UPS systems, Switchgears, Power Factor Improvement Plants, Energy Meters, and related electrical products.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Installation & Wiring
Perform installation and commissioning of 3-phase electrical systems.
Execute internal and external electrical wiring for commercial and industrial setups.
Ensure proper cable routing, load distribution, and safety compliance.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
Diagnose electrical faults in 3-phase circuits, control panels, and power equipment.
Identify issues in generator control systems, ATS/AMF panels, UPS circuits, and switchgear assemblies.
Apply structured troubleshooting techniques to restore operations quickly.
Repair & Preventive Maintenance
Conduct routine maintenance of Diesel Generator Sets, including electrical inspections.
Maintain and repair UPS systems, switchgears, PFI plants, and energy meters.
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
Equipment Handling & Safety
Work on LV distribution boards, MCCs, power panels, and control wiring.
Follow electrical safety standards and company SOPs during all tasks.
Ensure proper use of tools, testing devices, and protective equipment.
Requirements:
Diploma/Certification in Electrical Technology.
Minimum 2–5 years relevant experience (fresh candidates with strong skills may be considered).
Strong understanding of 3-phase systems, load management, and electrical protection devices.
Experience with Diesel Generators, UPS, Switchgears, PFI Panels, Energy Meters, and similar equipment.
Ability to read electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and control schematics.
Proficient in using multimeters, clamp meters, and other diagnostic tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of ATS, AMF, and synchronizing panels.
Experience with industrial motor control circuits.
Familiarity with basic PLC wiring (optional but beneficial).
