Telecom Rigger

Job description
•Experience with microwave, 0.3 to 2.4-3 meter dish handling over 60-70 meter tower.
Microwave link installation, alignment (antennas, jumpers, connectors)
Planning activities knowledge
All sizes of dish
Mush know EHS standards while working at height.
Should have BSS,3G,4G and hexagon antenna installation knowledge.
Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment
• Installation, relocation, and removal of tower-mounted equipment
• Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles towers to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
• Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
• Termination of telecommunications connectors and cables of various types and sizes;
• Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
Successful candidates will have:
• +3 years’ experience in telecommunications rigging
• Intermediate to advanced rigging certification
• Working at Heights certification
• Tower rescue certification
• First aid training
• RF awareness certification
• Good communications skills both written and verbal
• Transmission and Microwave experience (Preferable)
• Demonstrated knowledge of safe working practices
