Software Quality Assurance Engineer (sqa)

Summary: Evaluates and tests new or existing softwares / websites to verify that they are functional according to the requirements and conform to the other required standards. Work with the development team to attain quality of software economically and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare Quality Plan and Test cases strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Perform testing using different testing techniques.
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
• Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
• Manage the deployment files and releases of products.
Skills Required:
Ideal candidate should have a BCS (Hons) / MCS /MITdegree with proven record of 1-3 years of QA experience on web applications.

- Well familiar with the QA life cycle and methodologies
- Able to perform Black box and White box testing
- Able to perform load testing, regression testing and performance testing
- Able to handle multiple projects.
- Strong analytical skills
- Prior knowledge on automated testing tool like QTP, Load Runner etc will be considered plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
