Structural Design Engineer/modeler

Distributed Engineering is an international Company with offices in Australia, Canada, Romania, Serbia, USA, UK, UAE and Pakistan.
 
This position will work in our Engineering Department to create 3-D structural models, installation and fabrication drawings for steel structures (telecommunication towers, buildings, bridges).
 
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
 
Create 3-D Models for steel structures, using Autodesk Advance Steel
Produce general arrangement drawings
Produce fabrication drawings
Attend design review meetings with internal functions, customers and suppliers as required
Report the progress of design activities ensuring projects remain on course
Provide design and engineering support to both colleagues, suppliers and customers
 
Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
 
Experience/Skills:
 
Proven track record in producing various Structural Steel detailing work
Fully conversant using AutoCAD
Experience in using Autodesk Advance Steel or an equivalent software such as Tekla
Have the ability to work on their own initiative to a high standard and effectively in a team
Be committed, driven, enthusiastic and motivated
Ability to communicate and engage with people across all levels
