We're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Bakery Manager to help us run daily operations smoothly while keeping our customers smiling.
About the Role We're hiring a Bakery Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at Bundtly. You'll be the person who keeps the shop running — managing the POS and sales, leading the team, delivering great customer service, and making sure every customer leaves with a great experience (and a great cake).
Responsibilities
Operate and manage the POS system for daily sales, transactions, and end-of-day reconciliation
Oversee daily bakery operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling
Deliver excellent, warm customer service and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally
Supervise, train, and schedule bakery staff to ensure smooth shift coverage
Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste
Track daily/weekly sales performance and report to ownership
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards across the bakery
Support order-taking for custom cakes and special occasions, coordinating with the baking team
Handle basic bookkeeping/record-keeping related to sales and inventory
Help build a positive, motivated team culture on the floor
Requirements
1–2 years of relevant experience in a bakery, café, restaurant, or retail management role
Working knowledge of POS systems and handling daily sales/cash reconciliation
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Proven ability to lead and manage a small team
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills & Marketing Skill to boost the bakery
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and stay calm during busy hours
Basic understanding of inventory management
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy with cash handling
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
