Job Description
Job Summary:
The Career Counsellor at Arena Multimedia Clifton is responsible for guiding prospective and current students in selecting suitable courses and career paths in the fields of media, design, animation, and IT. The role focuses on student counselling, admissions conversion, and supporting students in achieving their professional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide career counselling sessions to walk-in, online, and referred students.
Guide students about courses such as Graphic Design, 2D/3D Animation, Web Development, and AI programs.
Assess students’ interests, skills, and educational background to recommend suitable career paths.
Handle admissions process including follow-ups, conversions, and documentation.
Maintain and update student enquiry records (calls, visits, and leads).
Conduct presentations, seminars, and career workshops in colleges, schools, and events.
Coordinate with the marketing team for lead generation and promotional campaigns.
Build relationships with students and parents to ensure trust and satisfaction.
Provide guidance on career opportunities, industry trends, and certifications.
Support students in internship and job placement guidance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Sales and counselling experience (preferred in education sector).
Ability to convince and convert leads into admissions.
Knowledge of media, design, or IT courses is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
