After joining us as a Business Analyst, you will be required to:
Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes related to the travel industry, including booking systems, customer service, operations, financial performance, and revenue management.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements using various elicitation techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys, and JAD sessions).
Develop and maintain project documentation, including business cases, process flows, user stories, financial impact assessments, and requirements traceability matrices.
Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, revenue improvement initiatives, and process optimization recommendations.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational feasibility.
Monitor project progress, business KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and customer experience across business functions.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and project updates to management and stakeholders.
Stay updated on travel industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and best practices.
Key Requirements
To be the best fit for this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the travel industry (e.g., airlines, hotels, online travel agencies, or tour operators).
Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret business and financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Experience in business requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and business process improvement techniques (e.g., BPMN).
Working knowledge of travel industry systems such as GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo), CRS, PMS, and booking platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is an advantage but not mandatory.
Understanding of budgeting, revenue analysis, forecasting, or financial reporting is considered a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
