Senior Proposal Writers

FINCON Services Inc. is recruiting full-time and contract proposal writers to respond to new RFPs issued by the Asian Development Bank, World Bank and other development agencies. The proposal writer will be responsible for proposal design, writing, formatting, staff and project scheduling, researching, editing, proof reading, and management of our existing proposal resources. The proposal writer will need to understand complex RFP/RFAs and apply a coherent vision of project management and execution in our response.

Contract writers will be tasked to RFP responses according to their sector and thematic areas of experience.

Full-time proposal writers will need to demonstrate experience with learning and researching new technical areas. Full-time writers may also be tasked with improving our expressions of interest and other communications activities.

The proposal writer will work with senior technical consultants and experts to write a winning proposal. The proposal writer will correspond with and interview our consultants for inputs, and integrate and edit contributions from our consultants. The proposal writer will be assisted by junior staff in desk research and backstopping.

Qualifications

· Five or more years of experience responding to Asian Development Bank or World Bank RFPs, and RFPs from other bilateral and multilateral donors

· Must demonstrate record of success in securing contracts and writing high ranking proposals

· Continuous learning, and researching new technical areas and providing inputs to the technical writeup

· Technical writing skills and strong command of the English language

· Training in project management and project management experience; as well as leadership experience in a research/writing environment are major assets
