Database Programmer / Ms Office Application Developer

This is an ideal position for an individual who would like to contribute his / her programming and database design skills to a non-profit organization that is playing an active role in the uplift of the educational sector.

Your main responsibilities will include development and management of efficient and scalable applications that can help us achieve office automation. You will play a very active role in building up the data processing capabilities of the organization.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience as a database programmer with all the relevant skills, including excellent programming skills in Visual Basic.

The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge and experience of building applications for MS Word, Excel and Access and should demonstrate strong familiarity and experience with all events, methods, properties and capabilities of Office Applications.

In addition, you should also be able to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade and provide solutions to basic hardware / software problems, applications and end user issues.

Additional knowledge of Internet technologies, web designing, web programming and web-based applications would be an advantage.
