Structural Designer Reinforced Concrete

Distributed Engineering is an international Company with offices in Australia, Canada, Romania, Serbia, USA, UK, UAE and Pakistan.
 
This position will work in our Engineering Department to create structural models for reinforced concrete structures, reinforcement drawings for infrastructure, office, commercial and residential buildings.
 
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
 
Concrete BIM 3-D modelling (structure only) with Revit software
Reinforcement concrete shop drawing (with Autocad and Armacad) and concrete shop drawing (Autocad and Revit)
Verify drawings, dates, specifications, addenda and other contractual information
Work with job site personnel & customer to determine project requirements for both detailing and delivery of material.
Detail accessories, mesh, couplers etc.
Attend design review meetings with internal functions, customers and suppliers as required
Report the progress of design activities ensuring projects remain on course
Provide design and engineering support to both colleagues, suppliers and customers.
 
Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.   
 
Experience/Skills:
 
One to two years of Rebar Detailing experience.
Practical knowledge of rebar detailing per industry standards.
Good understanding of principles of Reinforced Concrete Design
Revit experience is essential.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
Strong mathematical skills.
