My success |
|
I joined Medialinkers at the end of October 2005. I joined Medialinkers as a trainee developer. I previously had no knowledge about development, but I knew I was capable enough to grasp any skill by its roots and make a career out of it. My boss always supported me, and helped with to polish my skills. Thus gradually I started learning. Observing my progress my boss dedicated me to an American client, who wanted to develop a referral system where pregnant moms would be able to find the nearest sonogram centers to their zip code. The project eventually became a success. My client was very happy and I was rewarded with bonuses.
After working as a developer I gave more time to my office, and thus started learning content writing. I always had total command over English thus writing meaningful content wasn’t a difficult task for me. I wrote content for numerous websites, thus helping them in achieving their desired search engine ranking.
But web designing always remained my major interest, and I always knew it was a field where I could easily thrive and make a good career out of it. Along with web development and SEO I started working as a web designer at Medialinkers. My boss supported me, and encouraged my learning skills. I picked up the designing basics very quickly, and became an asset for my company. Looking at my dedication and my learning power, I was also assigned certain difficult projects to coordinate, which I did successfully. I bridged all the gaps between the client and those web developers or designers who were weak in communication.
I was very interested in sports and Medialinkers coincidentally were a company where my boss supported sports and physical activities. I was allowed to show my cricket and football skills. Which made me an active and an attentive employee? Due to these physical activities, I never was sick and thus I have not yet taken a sick leave from Medialinkers from the day of joining till today. I feel I have covered a lot of distance in a short time. And I am thankful to all my colleagues and my boss who have supported me through thick and thin, and never let me down.
