Job Description

Role; Sales- Assistant Manager
Duties You will do;
Responsible to develop the Sales plans and budgets to achieve or exceed the monthly and annual sales goals. Responsible to monitoring the sales budget to ensure optimum utilization of resources in the region. Provide leadership to staff and engage them to stay and contribute effectively to the company. Maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure the comprehensive availability of company’s products and services across the region. Responsible to establish and ensure that all sales administration supporting procedures implemented. Mentor dealers’ staff regarding effective selling techniques and educate them about product qualities & distinctions. Actions to maintain the sales, effectively monitoring of given tasks/ targets, new customer development, retention of existing customer, maintain the existing sales business, control the penetration in the market about new customer, increase reasonable business growth, strong and reasonable follow-ups and coordination with clients, maintain daily / weekly visits plan, plan and direct the sales strategies to achieve or exceed the sales objectives. Introducing company schemes in the designated regions as and when required by the management. Ensure excellent working relationship with dealers in the designated area and resolve their issues within minimum time period. Making daily progress report and send to management. Responsible to co-ordinate and follow up with the warehouse/ store to ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is available for the Region. Coordinate with the Marketing team to ensure that adequate marketing support by way of merchandising and promotions is available in the region in order to provide brand visibility and promote sales in the region. Generate sales of company products in the region through a team of salesmen in order to achieve or exceed the annual sales targets. Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities in order to increase sales in the region. Update visit plans on weekly basis with due consultation with immediate supervisor. Visit vendors, display and experience centers in accordance with approved weekly visit plan. Develop and submit a comprehensive market visits report along with competition activity in the designated area after every visit. Ensuring to regularly and frequently achieve monthly sales targets. Develop and maintain excellent work relationship with existing dealers in designated area. Develop new potential dealers within designated region in accordance with company’s dealership policy. Seasonally and campaign wise ensuring that visual merchandizing and branding at Dealers’ outlets is as per company’s set standards. Provide dealers with new price list whenever there is any change in company prices. Responsible to regularly perform stock movement analysis for dealers, prepare an ideal item mix for them based on location & stock movement and counsel dealers accordingly to improve their sales and profitability. Update dealers on their achievement against given targets and motivate them for improved performance. Responsible to highlight the week areas and ensure the remedy of problem in order to improve the business. Responsible on functions include Product demonstration, effort to qualify the leads generated by marketing teams, generating new inquiries, strong follow-ups on sales leads, quotations and invoicing management, observing market trends, cold callings, participate in exhibitions and seminars, travelling locally and abroad, correspondence with finance/ warehouse/ store/ experience centers and other departmental staff as well, involvement in import and export shipments, resources allocation mapping.
Requirement Criteria;
5-10 years of professional experience, Bachelors or Master’s degree with specialization in Sales or in discipline Marketing (preferably BBA, MBA’s), Proficiency in office computing tools mainly MS Outlook, Manage and deploy initiatives by influence, Deadline oriented & result driven, Capable to work independently under pressure and bulk responsibilities, Extrovert having excellent interpersonal skills to handle corporate sales, capable to overview and manage corporate sales, Able to work independently with little or no supervision, Target oriented individuals with the passion and enthusiasm to achieve targets assigned
