A Well reputed National Pharmaceutical company based at Karachi is looking for a R & D MANAGER. The incumbent must meet the following criteria for consideration of such position.
 
Responsibilities:
 
Research, Formulation and development of new products.
To prepare the Protocols of new Product for Trial & Stability Batches
Manufacturing of Trial & Stability Batches
To Prepare the BMR & BPR for Scale Up Production Batches
To Supervise the Manufacturing of initial  batches of New Product
Participate in validation of initial  production batches
To Handle the Trouble Shooting in on-going & New Products
Collection of data of Competitive Products
Supervision of operations related to trials and manufacturing of stability of batches.
Preparation of samples for stability studies.
Completion and maintaining all documents related to product development.
Collection of information about properties of active ingredients and excipients. 
Assist in Preparation of trial and stability batch protocol and BMR protocol for scale up Production.
Involved in the initial production batches.
Proper management of product development department with regard to filing, storage of sample, raw and packaging material meant for product development.
Participate in troubleshooting of production related problems.
Contribute actively in the continuous improvement program.
Co-ordination with marketing, regulatory, production, quality control, quality assurance, warehouse, procurement, and engineering for the timely availability of new products. 
Resolve manufacturing problems and Improve formulation of existing product to safe process time, to make product cost effective etc.
Plan and arrange testing of incoming materials, and stability samples.
Conduct accelerated and normal stability studies of all new products in coordination with quality control department.
Prepare batch manufacturing record (BMR), batch packing record (BPR).
 Initiation packing materials specification. 
 Co-ordinate with marketing in preparation of artwork of all products.
 SOP writing and its implementation.




Qualification & Experience :   
B.Pham/M.Pharm/ Ph.D
5-8 years' experience of Research and Development of New and existing products.
 
Age:  Not more than 40 year
